His sense of creativity has redoubled. Brixy\u2019s pictorial world, his imagery, is ripe and juicy. It is apt, then, that this year\u2019s shows bear the title \u2018<strong>Ripe &#038; Juicy\u2019<\/strong>, as Brixy creates a stir with <strong>two exhibitions<\/strong> that put sun-drenched plants centre stage in his visual universe: figs and citrus leaves. The shows open at the <strong>Kunstverein Worms<\/strong> and in the orangery of <strong>Schwetzingen Palace. <\/strong>And:\u00a0After seven years, <strong>it\u2019s time for an extensive retrospective.<\/strong> Works from the various series created in the neo-Gothic industrial building are combined with older works from when he still had his studio in Mannheim\u2019s urban centre.
