We deliberately chose to present Mehler’s steel sculptures against the backdrop of my new works from the “Discover” series. There arose works of painting and sculpture that spoke in their individual and exciting way of a formation process that exists in parallel to nature.

The title of this exhibition, “Achtung Brixy”, is deliberately ambiguous: as a sign of recognition for the varied art and as a sign of respect from fellow artists – hopefully echoed by visitors after seeing the stupendous show.
