Dietmar Brixy is truly honored that one of the oldest and most renowned Art Associations in Germany - the Art Associaation Coburg - will be presenting his work in a solo exhibition. New works from my Surprise series as well as works from the Discover series will be presented in this architecturally significant location. Brixy looks forward to personally welcoming you there!

RED is considered to be the first, most precious and most meaningful color. From its initial appearance in cave paintings, to the costly and laborous production in the 16h and 17th centuries for royalty and clerics, to the it´s symbol ridden influence in the Moderne and contemporary art – this primary color has an inimitable place in the ranks of color theory. Dietmar Brixy is proud to be a part of the exhibition, which takes place during the Season Start of Frankfurt Galleries (9-11 Sept. 2016)...

Dietmar Brixy's works will also be shown at the art fair „Positions Berlin”. With Tammen & Partner Gallery (Berlin). Now in it's third year, the fair is composed of 73 jury-selected galleries from 13 countries. Conveniently located in the Postbahnhof at the Ostbahnhof.
