Dietmar Brixy at the 2026 Members’ Exhibition

Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe | December 1, 2026 – January 19, 2027

This year, Dietmar Brixy is once again participating in the traditional Members’ Exhibition at the Badischer Kunstverein in Karlsruhe, presenting a painting from his current WANDERLUST series.

The annual exhibition brings together a diverse range of artistic positions, offering a multifaceted insight into contemporary art. For Dietmar Brixy, participation has long become a cherished tradition. As a graduate of the Karlsruhe State Academy of Fine Arts, he maintains a strong connection to the city and its cultural institutions.

With his large-scale painting Wanderlust (2026, oil on canvas, 150 × 150 cm), Brixy presents a multilayered pictorial world that moves between abstraction and landscape-inspired imagery. Horizontal fields of color, textured surfaces, and dynamic contrasts create a visual space where reality and imagination converge.
