POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair 2024: International art in focus
This year, POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair will bring together 111 galleries from 24 countries to present their most important works of modern and contemporary art. A special highlight this year: the strong focus on South Korea and its dynamic art scene.
After last year's success with over 30,000 visitors, the art fair remains a central event in the Berlin art scene at the start of the autumn season. The participating galleries are given the opportunity to present their innovative art programmes to an international audience as part of the renowned Berlin Art Week.
The venue is the impressive Berlin-Tempelhof Airport, more precisely Hangars 6 and 7, where light-flooded halls and high ceilings create a unique atmosphere for the presentation of artworks on over 12,000 square metres. In addition to the galleries, the fair attracts visitors with a varied supporting programme that includes special exhibitions, award ceremonies, inspiring talks and the exclusive Berlin Art Week Collectors Dinner.
POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair has been an official partner of Berlin Art Week since 2014. It thus plays a central role in this important art festival, which brings together openings from Berlin galleries, private collections and renowned museums such as the Neue Nationalgalerie, Hamburger Bahnhof, KW Institute for Contemporary Art and the Gropius Bau.
